There are many career opportunities after 10+2, but different students opt for different careers. The most promising and one in which the students love to take care of their society is nursing courses. These courses are available almost in every state in India. ANM and GNM are the most promising career in the field of medicine. ANM and GNM graduates are required in large numbers in Middle East, Canada and US. ANM stands for Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM), whereas GNM stands for General Nursing and Midwifery. Both the courses are very similar to each other. ANM for Male is not available in the state of Haryana. However, ANM aspirants can take admission in courses such as Multipurpose Health Worker (MPHW). Male Nurse 

 

The basic qualification needed to get admission in ANM is 33% in 10+2. Other norms are according to INC (Indian National Council).

There is a wide scope if one goes for ANM and GNM.

•    The students pursuing these courses can demonstrate a huge amount of awareness in people so that they can be careful about many diseases and other health issues.

•    Provide a lot of care and support to the people who needy people.

Eligibility for GNM:

Duration: 3 ½ Years

Age:  17 to 35 Years

Academic Qualifications:  (10+2) any stream -Min.-33% Marks

                                             10+2(any stream), Hindi up to Metric

Selection Criteria:              Merit in Entrance test by college

                                           Authority followed by Counseling                                                                                 

Medium of Instructions:    English
